    Description

    Full exterior view of U.S. Custom House, 312 Fore Street, from south. Designed by Supervising Architect of the Treasury Alfred B. Mullett, the Custom House was constructed between 1867 (immediately after the Great Fire of 1866) and 1872. The style combines elements of Second Empire and Renaissance Revival motifs.
