Views of the newly-constructed Riverton Elementary School, 1600 Forest Avenue, in preparation for its first year of operations (1976-1977 academic year).
In February 2020, Riverton School was renamed Gerald E. Talbot Community School, in honor of the first African American to be elected to Maine’s Legislature and to chair the Maine State Board of Education.
