Description

Exterior view of the Fred E. Allen House, from west. Apartment houses at 21 Deering Street, 19 Deering Street, and 17 Deering Street, at right. Built in 1898 and designed by Portland architect John Calvin Stevens, the building has subsequently been home to the Harold T. Andrews American Legion Post.
