Description
Views of the Madd Apple Café, 23 Forest Avenue.
The popular restaurant was opened in May 1983 by local caterer and cooking instructor Rebecca Reilly, as the Portland Performing Arts Center (25 Forest Avenue) prepared to open, next door.
In June 1986, the Madd Apple was bought by Martha and James Williamson.
After subsequent ownership changes, the restaurant was later known as Bibo's Madd Apple Café, and closed in January 2017.
