    Description

    Full exterior view of building at 311-319 Commercial Street, from east. Eastern edge of cold storage (Sealtest Dairy, 329 Commercial Street) building at left. Foundry Lane at right.
    The building was owned by J.B. Brown and Sons, built circa1875, and was also known as 42-48 York Street. At the time of this photograph, the principal business was Rock Wool Insulation Company. The sign reads, "Rock Wool Insulation Co. : Year Round Home Comfort and Economy."
