Exterior views of Holiday Inn hotel (also known as Holiday Inn By the Bay), 88 Spring Street, from west. The 11-storey, 246-hotel (with a 200-car parking garage) was constructed in 1972-1973, and opened on 26 May 1973. The building design was by architect John H. Leasure, who also designed the South Portland Public Library (1966), and Franklin Towers (1968-69).
