Description
Views from the Animal Refuge League, 449 Stroudwater Street, shortly after their relocation from 1 Pleasant Street. The Animal Refuge League was incorporated in 1911, and former Maine Governor Percival P. Baxter's philanthropy helped construct the newer and larger shelter in Westbrook in 1956-57.
