Description

Views of The Market Street Market, 164 Middle Street (at Market Street). The Market was a mini-mall inside a repurposed Old Port building at the southeast corner of Middle Street and Market Street, and was in operation from 1979-1983.

In 1980, the merchants were: The Mole Hole, Portland Plus, Godmother's Pizza, Just Desserts, Orange Press Express, The Bag Lady, Bull Market, Child's Play, Que Huong, Salad Days, Ruby Begonia, East India Company, Rathskellar, Logos Bookstore, The Crepe and Egg, along with a variety of push cart vendors.
