Description
Full exterior view of Burnham and Morrill Company factory, 1 Bean Pot Circle, Portland, from southwest. Back Cove in foreground. The B&M cannery dates back to 1867 on Franklin Street, begun by George Burnham. with Charles Morrill, the business name changed to Burnham and Morrill. In 1913 the manufacture moved across Back Cove to its permanent location, and it is primarily known for its baked beans.
