Article caption: "The organ grinder still appears on Portland streets; however, lacking is the ever-so-polite monkey to gather the coins. Where in former times there were numerous grinders daily making the rounds, today each neighborhood gets only a few visits during the Summer. The audience is a receptive one, as this picture indicates."
