General view of Spring Street, west of Center Street, from west. Southern building of E.T. Burrowes Company in the process of being demolished (at right), with northern building (at left) still intact. The walkway between the two buildings was demolished before the photo was taken. Staples School, 70-74 Center Street, visible at right edge of image. Two Portland Police Department officers standing near demolition vehicles and police car.
