Description
Pleasant Street Apartments (87 Pleasant Street), with protest sign attached to exterior wall: "Who's Home is Next? Don't Think About It, Do Something About It NOW." 85 Pleasant Street, at right. Portion of Oak Street at right edge of image. These buildings were at the northwest corner of Pleasant Street and Oak Street. Two blocks of Pleasant Street apartment houses were demolished to make way for the Holiday Inn hotel and its accompanying parking garages.
