Abstract

Media giant Clear Channel Communications of Texas agreed to sell Sullivan-based WNSX-FM to Mark Osborne and Natalie Knox, after its recent acquisition failed to perform as expected. Formerly married and now friends, Osborne and Knox have jointly owned five radio stations. Their company, Stony Creek Broadcasting LLC, will try to counter "big box" radio in the downeast radio market and revive vibrant small-town radio. They will continue to run their ad agency, Knox & Osborne Advertising.
