Abstract

The National Council on Compensation Insurance says that the cost of providing workers' compensation policies in Maine will drop by nearly 4 percent next year, due to fewer job-related injuries in recent years and the Legislature's changes to the system. The NCCI projections are only an advisory, but many private companies and self-insured businesses use them in setting rates. Details.
