Abstract

The prognosis for the recovery of 2-year-old Patrick McDonough of Wells remains uncertain. The boy, who has been given a bone-marrow transplant to fight a rare form of leukemia, is now fighting chronic graft-vs.-host disease, which stems from the marrow transplant.
