Abstract

A combination of high spring water levels and above-normal humidity levels this spring has created ideal breeding conditions for mosquitos, and both the inland and salt marsh types of the insect are repopulating at increased rates this year. Salt-marsh mosquitos usually produce two or three generations annually, but are expected to produce five or six generations this year. Details.
