Abstract

The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded five southern Maine agencies a three-year, $669,000 grant to provide housing for people living with AIDS and HIV. The grant is one of 15 projects in the country backed by the federal agency, and besides assisting places that provide housing will give direct subsidies to people with AIDS who want to live independently.
