Abstract

Because of increasing coyote depredation to deer herds near Baxter State Park, park authorities are coming under increasing pressure to control the number of coyotes in the park. Such activity would offend conservationists who note that Gov. Baxter wanted the park to remain "forever wild," with a minimum of human intervention. Details.
