Portland High School Students Explore Colleges
An account of a trip made by seven female Portland High School students to Washington D.C. that focused on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HCBUs). Describes how the students' interest in HBCUs was sparked during meetings with mentor and HCBU graduate Brooke Rayford, who helped plan and chaperone the trip.
