Abstract

Excerpts from the transcript of a conversation with panelists at a Portland Adult Education (PAE) program called "Entrepreneurial women creating change in Maine and beyond" that was held on March 8. Moderator Abbie Yamamoto, executive director of PAE, was joined by Krystal Williams, an attorney and founding manager at Providential Group and Abusana "Micky" Bondo, co-founder of In Her Presence. The women discussed the importance of education and the need for systemic change to support people of color.
