Abstract

Six candidates for various Maine city councils answer questions about support for immigrants, developing Maine's workforce, and their three main priorities if elected. Two candidates for school boards respond to questions about why they are running and their priorities if elected. The candidates featured are: Pious Ali for Portland City Council; Claude Rwaganje for Westbrook City Council; Safiya Khalid for Bangor City Council; McDonald Johnson for Westbrook City Council; Tae Chong for Portland City Council; Angela Okafor for Bangor City Council; Marwa Hassanien for the Bangor School Committee; and Tania Jean-Jacques for the RSU 22 School Board.
