Abstract
An article highlighting the efforts of The Emergency Action Network (TEAN) and the MidCoast New Mainers Group to help new immigrants in the Bath/Brunswick area. Focuses on the ways these organizations facilitated the resettlement of asylum-seeking families formerly housed at the Portland Expo. Mentions other organizations and individuals, such as Brunswick cultural broker Nsiona Nguizani, who have helped make the area more welcoming and supportive for new immigrants.
