Abstract
Profile of Dr. Owen Pickus, 46, of Cape Elizabeth, the largest AIDS practitioner in Maine, by volume. Pickus, who trained in oncology and hematology, treats some 250 HIV-positive patients, who make up one-quarter of his practice. He is currently conducting a small-scale trial of interleuken-2, and plans on presenting his findings at the 1996 International AIDS Conference in Vancouver.
