Abstract
The second through fifth floors of the Winslow Building at 547A Congress Street in Portland contain 20 studios, and rent on a 200-square-foot space runs a little more than $100 per month. Tenants in the building include painters, sculptors, a maker of art books, musicians, photographers and teachers. Dirigo Management runs the Winslow Building, and recently conducted an unannounced inspection to ferret out tenants who were using their studio and office spaces as living quarters.
