"Edge" piece on Little League East baseball in Portland. Loring Field in Payson Park is outfitted with fences, dugouts, bat racks, a scoreboard and an announcer. Sponsors shell out $250 to sponsor one of five teams, and it costs $66 per child to run the league. The city's youth leagues make up the difference by holding raffles, car washes and bottle drives.
