Abstract
Dan Gillotte of Good Day Market of Portland is organizing an effort to oppose the proposed Portland Public Market. The indoor market would house around 30 specialty food vendors, and would be housed in a structure Elizabeth Noyce of Bremen wants to construct on the corner of Cumberland Avenue and Preble Street. Gillotte has been soliciting support from other small stores, but none are yet willing to state their opposition on record.
