Abstract
"Byte ME" piece on the JavaNet Cafe. The first JavaNet Cafe opened in Northampton, Massachusetts, around one year ago, and the second is set to open in Portland, with similar operations slated for Harvard Square and other Greater Boston locations. David Epstein and Zachary Julius are the two founders of JavaNet Cafe, where patrons can consume coffee while using public-access Internet terminals. JavaNet is also offering dial-up Internet service.
