Abstract

Jim Orr, chief executive officer of Unum Corp., said companies should check the high school records of job applicants. Casco Bay Weekly asked Orr to release his own high school records, and he refused. Orr said his proposal would only apply to applicants with less than three years of work experience, or those who have no post-secondary education.
