Abstract
Feature article on Channel 2, Portland's public access television station. "Live on 2 with Kyle and Efram," the only regularly scheduled, locally produced program broadcast on the station, created a controversy after a show with racy content aired during family viewing hours. Portland City Councilor Cheryl Leeman, chair of the city's cable television committee, objects to using public funds to create and broadcast sexual material. The offending show, hosted by Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle, has been pushed back to a later airing time. Many observers say Channel 2 is in need of an infusion of cash from the city. Details; related article on Portland's three local cable stations.
