Abstract

"So Noted" piece expressing concern for the Casco Bay Weekly's editorial independence and integrity in the wake of owner Dodge Morgan's May 21 announcement that he has given majority control of the paper to its employees: publisher Julie Watson (27%), his ex-wife Lael Morgan (25%), and rank-and-file employees (17%). Dodge Morgan also announced that his ex-wife, Lael, has been hired as the paper's new managing editor starting in mid-June.
