Abstract
Parker Poole, president of Union Wharf, on April 14 signed a 20-year lease to berth the oil spill recovery ship Maine Responder, which couldn't finding adequate docking space in South Portland, where it is currently docked at a Portland Pipe Line Corp. pier. The move will result in the displacement of two seafood businesses and dozens of fishermen who are presently docked at Union Wharf.
