Abstract

"City" piece on an interview with Jonathan Lee, executive director of the Maine Speakout Project. Lee has been training volunteers since 1995 to go into the community to talk about the impact discrimination against gays and lesbians has had on their lives. Now Lee wants to expand that program to reach teachers, administrators and students in order to make schools safer for sexual minorities.
