Abstract

"Cover Story" piece on the demise of radio station WCLZ (98.9 FM), Portland's adult alternative radio station, and the birth of radio station WTPN (98.9 FM), otherwise known as "98.9 The Point," which plays a bland mix of adult contemporary music aimed at young women. With a comparison between WTPN and other radio stations in the Greater Portland area competing for the same audience.
