Abstract

"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece explaining why Maine voters should be offended by a statement made by Gov. Angus King during a news conference on Aug. 16, in which the governor said the referendum process should be tightened up, because voters are sometimes fooled by sneaky special interests into casting ballots for the wrong side in citizen-initiated referendums.
