Abstract
"City" piece on Dick Littlefield, events supervisor for the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, who allegedly has some role in deciding which outside security companies get hired to work Civic Center events. The company that gets most of those jobs is Atlantic Professional Services (APS), which is owned by Littlefield's brother, Larry. As well as owning APS, Larry Littlefield is director of security for Portland's Public Assembly Facilities Division, which employs his father, mother, sister and brother-in-law as well as employees of APS to cover city functions at Merrill Auditorium, the Portland Expo, Hadlock Field and Fitzpatrick Stadium.
