Abstract

"City" piece on theft at Portland High School and the way school officials handle reports of theft. With special focus on an unidentified freshman student who had money stolen from him on two separate occasions totaling $26. The student's mother is angry because the school failed to warn her son about possible theft, and because of what she considers a lack of response to her complaints by school officials.
