Abstract
"City" piece on a 29-acre parcel of land in Cape Elizabeth owned by real-estate developer Eric Cianchette. The town has issued a stop-work order to Cianchette, who has been clearing the land, because the town's code enforcement officer discovered a sizable peace of the land behind St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church falls under the town's protected wetlands regulations. Cianchette's attorney, David Perkins, said he intends to challenge the town's order. Cianchette purchased the land from St. Bartholomew's church for $350,000, and plans to build a home and operate a horse farm there.
