Abstract

"City" piece on the lack of public transportation on Peaks Island. Last year, even Town Taxi announced that it would no longer service the island. With comments by Peter Hefler, general manager of the Greater Portland Transit District, and details about the Volunteer Island Transportation service established last fall by Catherine Erdman.
