Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility was formed one year ago. It evolved from the organization New England Businesses for Social Responsibility, and is dedicated to taking care of employees, customers and the community. Unum Corp., G.H. Bass & Co., L.L. Bean, Moulded Fibre Technology, Tom's of Maine, National Semiconductor, Hannaford Bros. and Blue Cross-Blue Shield are some of the companies involved with the current corporate drive for social responsibility.
