Abstract
The Mountain Division Alliance, a new coalition of municipal, state and private groups, hopes to create an east-west alternative transportation corridor between Portland and Fryeburg. The organization formed in response to Guilford Transportation's abandonment of 45 miles of the Mountain Division rail line.
