Abstract

The Cumberland County Civic Center lost more than $400,000 in 1991 and 1992, and as of September is more than $50,000 in the red for 1993. These deficits prompted the trustees of the publicly-owned facility to seek bids from private management firms to run the center, bids which were eventually turned down in favor of the existing system.
