Abstract
Lawrence Lockman of Concerned Maine Families, the group that initiated the November 7 referendum seeking to limit the classes protected under Maine's human rights law, wrote to the Biddeford Journal Tribune and named several companies that are supporting Maine Won't Discriminate, the group opposed to the referendum. Lockman suggested that voters supporting the referendum may want to look for service providers who don't support gay rights. One of the businesses named in the letter, Key Bank of Maine, received a number of calls from disgruntled referendum supporters.
