Abstract

Article describing the renovation of a once plain Boothbay Harbor summer cottage into "Rosecliffe," a Carpenter Gothic masterpiece. The home was bought by Cornelia and Walter Smithwick in 1996, and the renovation was carried out by Martin Moore of Coastal Designers and Consultants on Southport Island.
