Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece on the restoration of the former Grand Banks fishing schooner "Roseway." The First National Bank of Damariscotta, which had repossessed "Roseway," decided last summer to donate the seventy-eight-year-old wooden schooner to Abby Kidder and the nonprofit World Ocean School she founded to save the wooden vessel and to teach skills to children through work on a traditional sailing ship. The ship is scheduled to be relaunched this fall in Boothbay Harbor.
