Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on the September launching of the 154-foot luxury sailboat Scheherazade by Hodgdon Yachts in East Boothbay. Ted Smith, spokesman for Hodgdon Yachts, says the megayacht, whose owner prefers to remain anonymous, will eventually fly the flag of Bermuda. Published estimates of the cost of the vessel are up to $25 million. Hodgdon Yachts has become a worldwide competitor among top-of-the-line yacht builders.
