Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece about Peter Kass of South Bristol, the owner of John's Bay Boat Company, who now has orders on hand this summer for six boats, enough to keep him and his small crew busy for three years, after a period in which there was little work. Peter believes one factor in the comeback is the relative prosperity of the lobster industry. Other factors include the appeal of Carroll Lowell's lobsterboat designs and Peter Kass' workmanship.
