Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece about Harold "Dynamite" Payson, who has been building mostly boat models in his South Thomaston shop for the last couple of years. This past winter he built an airplane, a PBY flying boat of World War II vintage, which he doesn't intend to fly. He plans hang it up in his shop and let the heat from the stove, slowly turn it. The plane has a forty-eight inch wingspan.
