Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece profiling Steve Pagels, of Cherryfield, a sailor and restorer of traditional vessels. Pagels has built a replica of a Biloxi cargo schooner, restored a fifty-three-year-old dragger, a forty-seven-year-old sardine carrier, and a seventy-one-year-old ferryboat. Pagels skippers several of his vessels for tourists as part of his Downeast Windjammer Cruises fleet.
