Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece on the opening of the nonprofit Maine Watercraft Museum on a portion of the old Wallace Boat Yard in Thomaston. Founder John G. Shelley III, who has more than 100 old boats and canoes in various stages of restoration, has enlisted other boat enthusiasts to help restore the boats. Livery boats are available for members and visitors to use on the St. George River.
