Abstract

Brief description of the Maine Coast Railroad, which offers riders a glimpse of the heyday of passenger rail service with fourteen-mile round-trips between Wiscasset and Newcastle. Maine Coast will also offer shuttle service between Wiscasset and Brunswick Naval Air Station during the base's popular air show July 22 and 23. Maine Coast has also leased the now-abandoned rail line between Brunswick and Augusta along the Kennebec River and plans fall foliage runs this autumn.
